CSA HRO Photo Contest!

Continental Drift- Travel Photography Expose- Photos wanted!!!

Hey everyone! Photos are wanted for the Human Rights Office's first ever Travel Photography Expose- Continental Drift! (check out the beautiful poster attached done by one of our volunteers)

If you have traveled anywhere and have some nice photos with interesting stories you would like to share please submit it to our photography silent auction. Your photos from abroad will be printed, framed and displayed at our social where participants can freely browse. At this event stories, tips, future plans can all be shared with like minded people you wouldn't have met anywhere else. It is quite the unique experience and the success of it depends on your photos which will be silent auctioned. All of the proceeds from this event ( happening something mid march) will go towards LetsStopAIDS (www.LetsStopAIDS.org) a youth driven Canadian charity that provides HIV and AIDS education and environmental action workshops in Canada and across the globe.

Here are the instructions for submitting a photo:

1. Pick the photo or photos (there's no limit but the photos will go through a panel of judges to make sure they are appropriate )

2. Title the photo as well as write down the location it was taken- write a paragraph describing the photo or giving the story behind the photo ( max 100 words ) - let us know if you would like to disclose your name as the photographer

3. Submit both the photos and story to continental.drift@hotmail.com by March 6th. If you are submitting more than 1 photo please either number the photos and the stories or put the same title. We need someone to match the photos with the stories.

4. Please also indicate on the email if we have permission to retouch your photo and in large it to a size we feel is appropriate.
